CalExit.now exists to advance California Sovereignty through lawful, peaceful, democratic action.

We are building a disciplined public movement grounded in civic engagement, democratic legitimacy, and the belief that California has both the right and the responsibility to examine its sovereign future.

We support a lawful and orderly path forward. That path begins with the introduction of a Joint Resolution in the California Senate and Assembly authorizing formal legislative inquiry into California Sovereignty. It continues with legislation authorizing the Governor to appoint a Blue Ribbon Commission to investigate, study, and report on all lawful peaceful means by which California may secure a sovereign future.

We are citizens, organizers, advocates, policy thinkers, civic leaders, and supporters from across the state. We are united by one conviction. California should have the power to examine its future and shape its destiny in accordance with the will of its people.

It is a global economic force. It leads in innovation, agriculture, trade, education, science, culture, and environmental stewardship. California has the population, institutions, talent, and resources to govern itself with strength and vision.

Yet California remains bound to a national political structure that too often obstructs its values, weakens its priorities, and limits its ability to fully protect its people. On issue after issue, Californians see decisions affecting their future shaped by institutions they do not control and political forces that do not reflect their democratic will.
